Kingsway is a committee-run pre-school in Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex, for children aged 2 to 4+ years. We aspire to provide opportunities for every child and their family to enjoy their Early Years. Children are encouraged to show their individuality, cultures, and belief. Through rich play and exploration, they will develop to their full potential and become happy, confident independent learners.

Our day
Exciting and varied activities are offered inside and outside during our free play sessions.
At approx 10.00am we have snack time. Children are offered milk or water, and a healthy snack. We are a no nut pre-school and will cater for children with dietary requirements. Please get in touch if you wish to discuss this further.
The children are encouraged to help tidy up and then come together for story/songs before going home or having lunch. Lunchtime is at approx 12.00–12.30.
The afternoon session follows a similar format to the morning with circle and snack at approx 1.45pm.
We offer alternative afternoon collection times: please speak to us for options available.
We arrange trips out to the park, library, beach, woods, fire station and invite visitors to come to us for activities, such as sport, yoga and music.
We use Tapestry as a learning journal, parents can access this at any time using their personal log in.
